Forget-Me-Nots

This spring finds me digging in the earth more than I have done in years.

From basil to salvia; from tomatoes to peppers - life is blooming.

In the midst of the dirt; and with the drips of water, I remember:

" Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."   Psalm 103:2-5
Today, my forget-me-nots abound as I continue to remember graces that envelope my life:

#292  spending an afternoon walking with a young friend

#293  listening to an audiobook with Mama (more about this another day)

#294  celebrating divine appointments and connections

#295  sharing tender moments with friends in a hospital

#296  admiring 7th and 8th graders who shout out gratitude loudly

#297  hearing the flash of understanding and revelation on the other end of the phone

#298  smiling at the thought of hand-holding, heart-opening conversations in the evening

#299  listening to the sounds silence

#300  pouring out water on dry ground

#301  soaking in Living Water!

holy experience
